Abstract

The US campaign against the International Criminal Court continues to escalate. Despite considerable efforts by the Court, individual States Parties, companies, and civil society, the United States has now extended its sanctions to the Court as a whole. At the same time, the United States is pressuring ICC States Parties to withdraw from the Rome Statute. All of this is part of a troubling development that will not stop at the International Criminal Court.
